Kendall Jenner’s Latest Country Home Features Unexpected Design Elements

Here’s all the details we have on her latest interior design endeavor.
When you think “Kardashian,” chintz might not be the first thing that comes to mind—but that could be changing. Kendall Jenner, the second-youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family, is in the midst of constructing a new countryside retreat, complete with micro-florals, plaids, checks, and a generous amount of tile. Though the home isn’t finished, the 29-year-old model has been sharing glimpses of the process on Instagram. Here’s what we know so far.
Interior designer Heidi Caillier, known for her calm and relaxed design aesthetic—seen in projects in places like Bedford, New York, and Fox Island—has brought her expertise to the build. Based in Seattle, Caillier specializes in giving new homes a sense of character and history, often using layers of color, pattern, and carefully selected materials. Her signature style includes blending patterns of varying scales through textiles and wallpaper, incorporating both light and dark wood finishes, and designing spaces that prioritize both function and lifestyle.
In one of Caillier’s projects, the living room includes two Nickey Kehoe sofas—one covered in a floral print fabric that closely resembles materials used in Jenner’s home, which also features exposed wooden beams.
Florals, plaids, and checks are key design elements throughout the property. Departing from Kim Kardashian’s famously minimalist Calabasas home, Kendall is embracing a much bolder aesthetic. The mix of cozy patterns and country elements leans more toward a rustic, ranch-meets-fisherman style rather than the modern farmhouse look.
House Beautiful reports that tile plays a major role in all three bathrooms, along with vibrant paint choices, layered fabrics, and textured wall coverings. Country Living also highlighted unique touches like a bedroom closet with curtains that match the wallpaper, and bunk beds in the guest room outfitted with contrasting floral curtains and quilted bedding.
One particularly buzzworthy feature? A butter-yellow retro-style toilet, a bold design move that’s stirred up plenty of opinions online. Other standout color choices include a bright blue Lacanche range, a lime green tiled bathroom, and a deep slate gray exterior—pushing the boundaries of the traditional farmhouse palette.
Kendall’s shift toward a more patterned, layered look may just be signaling a wider return to maximalism in interior design.
