This is the garden bed in the front yard that has really transformed since the moving days in some three years ago. In a bid to define the line between the lawn and the garden, the recycled stones are economical even though there was no professional installation process. The stones are trapezoid in shape, with one side being approximately 7 inches and the other approximately 5 inches. Due to their shape, they may be laid in line alternately changing direction, or curved—tightly or smoothly—along the garden edge. the choice was made to lay them all together in one row, and it looks wonderful, but they may be stacked (joints staggered) to form a higher border or even a retaining wall. These stones may also be used to build a firepit.
