When I got locked out of my place, I vowed to myself, I will ensure it never happens again. This prompted me to merge my love for DIY projects with making mosaics and build a secret compartment for a key at the bottom.
It is thankfully very easy to make personalized stepping stones. The first step is getting a cake pan from the kitchen or getting it from a thrift store.
To add some flair, I made a mosaic design on the plastic which is clear, placed it on the bottom of the pan, and poured concrete on top.
After placing the concrete, I sunk a child-proof pill container upside down into the mix.
I should clarify for the record, I will not be placing that specific stone on my lawn, not after posting it online. Most of these mugwort pouches were gifted stones, I made one for our garden too.
